A Milwaukee Story Shows the Power of Literacy

The Daly News is a touching new musical written by local actor and playwright Jonathan Gillard Daly. Torn apart by World War II, the Daly family kept three generations in touch through a family newsletter.

In honor of this great local story and the central role that literacy plays in it, the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre is partnering with Literacy Services for a special promotion. Donate a new or gently used book for the Literacy Services Book Drive and recieve $5 off the regular ticket price.

Annual Tutor Conference

Our annual Tutor Conference for current LSW tutors is coming up in November. On November 12th, 13th and 14th we will present sessions that focus on the ABE Comprehensive Program, as well as the GED and ESL programs. For more information see our events page.
